Regions Bank designated as a 2025 Military Friendly Employer

Regions Bank is once again being recognized for its work serving veterans, current members of the military, and their families. The Birmingham-based financial corporation has now been named as a 2025 Military Friendly Employer.

Regions was selected for the honor by Military Friendly, an organization that measures the commitment of companies to support the military community.

“At Regions, we appreciate the service and expertise of military veterans, service members, and military spouses. They bring unique perspectives and experiences to their work serving customers and communities,” said Chief Administrative and Human Resources Officer Dave Keenan. “We continue to build a culture that supports professional growth for these leaders and are proud to be recognized, once again, by Military Friendly.”

Kayla Lopez, Senior Director of Military Partnerships at Military Friendly, explained why companies like Regions receive the title.

“Organizations earning the Military Friendly Employers designation have wholeheartedly invested in comprehensive and impactful initiatives that bring about positive, life-changing results for our valued service members, dedicated military spouses, and esteemed veterans within their ranks,” said Lopez. “We salute these exemplary employers who raise the bar and understand that hiring military personnel is not merely an act of goodwill but a testament to a standard that truly embodies sound business wisdom.”

“Their steadfast commitment to integrating military personnel into their workforce not only reflects their compassion but also underscores their business acumen.”

Regions Bank supports military friendly career opportunities through a career transition program called BRAVE – Building Regions Associate Veteran Experience – specifically for the purpose of supporting veterans and military spouses during their transitions to the civilian workforce. As well as the Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP), a Department of Defense career program connecting military spouses with hundreds of member employers who commit to recruit, hire, promote and retain military spouses.

In 2024, Regions was also named a ‘Military Spouse Friendly Employer’ by Military Spouse magazine.
