Manning brothers’ rap video goes viral

What do you get when you combine two of pro football’s most famous southern-born-and-bred quarterbacks, a satellite television provider, cell phones and awesomely bad rapping?

A viral video success.

In an effort to promote their new product which allows subscribers to watch NFL games on any cell phone or tablet device, DirectTV enlisted the help of Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and his brother, Giants quarterback Eli Manning.

“Football on your phone?” Peyton Manning asks his brother at the start the video. “Football on your phone,” Eli responds affirmatively.

Donning wigs and gold chains and hopping out of a purple car with giant rims surrounded by a chorus of video vixens, the Manning brothers are delivering exactly what DirectTV was hoping for: clicks. The video, which was only posted two days ago, already has over 3.5 million views and climbing.
