77-year-old Charlie Daniels is a tweeting machine. With over 174,000 followers and having racked up over 31,000 tweets, he’s one of Twitter’s most prolific users.
Daniels is not shy about sharing his political beliefs on social media, frequently deriding liberals for their views. Perhaps most notably, he wrote an open letter on Facebook to President Obama criticizing his “you didn’t build that,” comment, and ripped into CNN host Piers Morgan on Twitter for attacking Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson’s Christian beliefs.
Piers Morgan why don't you go back to England and straighten it out before you try to change the United States of America
Sooner the better

Piers Morgan you woudn't last fiveminutes in the swamps Phil Robertson hangs out it.

But Daniels was feeling a little more agreeable this morning when he decided to send a tweet to Alabama state Senator Phil Williams, R-Gadsden.
@SenPhilWilliams
I hope something wonderful happens to you today.

One can only speculate that Daniels is referring to Williams’ hotly debated bill to provide basic oversight over taxpayer-subsidized green energy companies trying to set up wind farms in Alabama.
The bill is set for a public hearing this week, and conservatives have been working to keep it from getting stuck in the House Commerce Committee.
