The city of Hoover got some big news this week when Hoover Mayor Frank Brocato announced the guest speaker for his annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast in May is going to be none other than Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer.

Brocato’s post added the event – which takes place at the Hyatt Regency Wynfrey Hotel – will be held on Tuesday, May 6 and tickets will go on sale within the coming months with further information to be released at a later date.

This is going to be the 42nd edition of the annual Hoover Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. Last year’s event also featured a very prominent guest in Auburn Tigers head coach Hugh Freeze and previous names include Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson, SEC Network personality Lauren Sisler, and former NFL player Reggie Torbor.

DeBoer will certainly be one of the most anticipated guests the annual event has ever had.
