Jerry Carl owns pro-Hamas activists outside Capitol: ‘They are terrorist sympathizers’

U.S. Rep. Jerry Carl (R-Mobile) stood up to protestors outside the U.S. Capitol who accused him of only supporting Israel because of money from lobbyists.

Carl shared a TikTok video on his social media, originally recorded by the leftist group Code Pink, showing his exchange with an activist that was protesting against Israel.

On Code Pink’s website they claim to support “Justice for Palestine,” and argue that “Israel’s occupation and annexation of Palestine isn’t just cruel and inhumane, it’s illegal under international law.”

In the video you see anti-Israel protests asking Carl, “If you didn’t receive any AIPAC money, would you be sending money for murdering children?”

AIPAC stands for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, a lobbyist group in Washington D.C. that advocates for pro-Israel policies.

The congressman, who has long been a supporter of Israel’s defense, shot back at the protester.

“Listen, my grandparents taught me the Jewish faith,” Carl said. “The Jews are the chosen people by God. This is a Godly decision on my part. Money has nothing to do with it. So you deal with the murder. You’re representing the murderers.”

This is not the first time that Carl has responded to the anti-Israel protests in Washington D.C. Earlier this month he joined several other members of Congress in replacing American flags at Union Station that were taken down and burned by activists.
