There has perhaps not been a more anticipated game release in the history of sports video games than EA Sports’ College Football 25
The game is expected to release fully in July while the date May 16 appears on the EA website which is thought to be a countdown clock to the full trailer release.
But on Friday morning, the leaked cover for the deluxe version of the game made the rounds on social media sending people into a frenzy with some of the biggest names in the sport:

Michigan running back Donovan Edwards take center stage along with Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, Georgia quarterback Carson Beck, Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins, and Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter.
An in-game screenshot was also leaked on Twitter of Notre Dame emerging from their tunnel and featuring absolutely jaw-dropping graphics:

The video game has not sold since 2013 when legal issues surrounding players Name, Image, and Likeness being used put the beloved franchise on hold.
However, in the era of NIL and players able to profit off the game and their own names, the game was able to be revived from the dead after appearing that it would never return.
No matter what team you are a fan of, chances are if you’re a college football fan or even just a video game fan then you are absolutely ecstatic for this release.
