Gov. Kay Ivey’s reelection campaign on Friday announced that it would launch its first TV ad during Saturday’s SEC Championship Game.
Viewers tuned in to watch the University of Alabama contend for its second straight SEC title will see Ivey tout the Yellowhammer State’s accomplishments under her administration.
The ad begins with a shot of Ivey and a graphic displayed under her name which reads, “Alabama’s Most Conservative Governor.”
“Sometimes it’s like the world’s gone crazy. Thank God we live in Alabama,” says Ivey. “There’s no Critical Race Theory in our schools, I signed the strongest pro-life law in America, I stood with Trump to ensure no election here can ever be stolen, and we created thousands of new jobs.

A release issued by Ivey’s campaign stated that the governor “is already laying the groundwork now for Alabama’s prosperous future.” The campaign hailed her efforts to combat President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates and took note of her pro-life policies, support for election integrity and reforms to the state’s education system.
The announcement was accompanied by a statement from Ivey in which she outlined her administration’s achievements.
“Despite the Radical Left pushing their crazy agenda around the country, I have stood strong for Alabama to ensure that our values and way of life are protected. And make no mistake, we are better for it,” proclaimed Ivey. “We are making one of the strongest economic comebacks in the nation, are a top state for doing business, and have more jobs available today than ever before. Here in Alabama, we pray to God, protect life, and honor freedom, and as your governor, we always will.”
Will Califf, Ivey’s campaign manager overseeing her bid for reelection, noted that Alabama’s 54th governor holds one of the highest job approval ratings in the nation.
“Governor Ivey has a common sense approach that the people of Alabama are grateful for, so, it’s no wonder she is one of the most popular governors in the country,” said Califf. “Governor Ivey is a conservative fighter who has always stood up for Alabama values. While the rest of the world seems to be going crazy, Alabama has it right, and with Kay Ivey leading the way, we’ll keep it like that.”
The governor’s first campaign ad of the 2022 election cycle will run through the end of this year, according to the announcement.
