The wait is over.
South Star, Huntsville’s newest music mega-fest, has released its much anticipated set list Many of the performers attending are household names. Others may not be as well known, but in many cases their performances rival some of the event’s more prominent acts.
According to South Star, the full list of musicians scheduled to perform at the festival include: Blink 182, Gwen Stefani, Shinedown, Jane’s Addiction, Jimmy Eat World, TLC, Juvenile, Gin Blossoms, Candlebox, Dexter, Winona Fighter, Beck, Sublime, Goo Goo Dolls, Ludacris, Big Boi, Pete Yorn, Vanessa Carlton, and Bully Billy Allen and the Pollies.

The festival is scheduled for September 28 and 29 at John Hunt Park in Huntsville. There will be two separate stages and a sports bar to accommodate college football fans.
Advance tickets for the South Star Music Festival go on sale April 25, while the public sale begins April 26. One-day and two-day passes are available.
Prices start at $224 for a two-day general admission ticket and $139 for one-day general admission. They increase to $925 for one-day and $1,395 for two-day “platinum” tickets.
