With nearly 2,000 receiving yards, 17 touchdowns, and over 700 return yards in really what was essentially just 2.5 seasons in Tuscaloosa, Jaylen Waddle was one of the most electric players of the Nick Saban era.

He was on track for his best collegiate season in 2020 before an ankle injury derailed his momentum until the Miami Dolphins made Waddle the No. 6 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Since then, Waddle has excelled in Miami alongside his former quarterback and fellow Alabama legend, Tua Tagovailoa.
Waddle has over 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first three NFL seasons along with 18 touchdowns and has seemed to get better each season.
For his efforts, the Dolphins awarded the star with a huge contract extension on Thursday, extending Waddle for three more seasons for $84.75 million that includes $76 million guaranteed. The deal makes Waddle one of the five highest-paid receivers in the league.
