Cullman-area Alabama House special election candidate Cindy Myrex releases campaign video ad

Republican candidate for the Alabama House District 12 seat, Cindy Myrex, has released a new campaign ad ahead of the party’s primary in July.

The Cullman County native highlighted her personal life as a mother and wife, and also spoke about her successful career as a realtor that has spanned almost twenty years. Myrex also explained her reasons for running.

“I have spent my life right here in Cullman County raising a family, building a business, and serving a community in which I love,” she said. “For 18 years, I was a stay-at-home wife and mom. Then I became a school bus driver and now for almost two decades, I’ve been helping families find their homes on beautiful Smith Lake and Cullman County.”

“I am running for the Alabama House because I believe in protecting our families, our freedoms, and our future.”

Myrex served as a Trump Alternate Delegate at the 2024 Republican National Convention and also took part in the Alabama Strike Force, completing 16 days of grassroots campaigning in Georgia on behalf of President Donald Trump.

She and her husband, Ricky, live in the Smith Lake and Bremen area. They are active members of Temple Baptist Church and have two adult children, four grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.
