Auburn Tigers legend and iconic television media personality Charles Barkley is going to be stepping out of the spotlight following the upcoming NBA season, announcing that this will be his last year doing Inside the NBA.
Despite his departure from being seen constantly in the media, he says this is not going to keep him away from The Plains.
Charles Barkley said earlier today he's planning to "take a step back" from public life following his TV career.
"I'm going to always come to #Auburn, though. I want to make that perfectly clear."

“I’m looking forward to this last year, TV has been great to me. I’m gonna take a step back from public life,” Barkley said before making it clear he will be seen at his alma mater. “I’m going to always come to Auburn, though. I want to make that perfectly clear.”
“It’s been a great run, a great journey, I want to thank everyone for all the support over the years, but I’ll be 64 years old…I feel really good [about the decision to leave TV], this is gonna be more like a celebration because I’ve had the greatest life a person could have.”
Barkley has become one of the most recognizable faces in sports media over the years and he has done it all while proudly repping Auburn. It sounds like that is not going to change once he hangs up the microphone.
