Alabama 2nd Congressional District Republican candidate Caroleene Dobson began airing her first televised campaign advertisements last week.
Dobson said the ads are geared toward GOP voters in the district who may not be familiar with her.
“As a political newcomer who has never been in the Montgomery or D.C. swamps, it is important for Republican voters to learn about me and where I stand on the issues that matter to us most,” Dobson said. “Our aggressive and well-funded television campaign will tell voters about my homegrown roots deep in the Second Congressional District and outline the deeply held Christian faith and solid conservative values that guide my every move.”
In the first ad, entitled ‘Freedom’, Dobson briefly speaks about some of her core beliefs, specifically her support for school choice programs that empower parents to make decisions regarding their children’s education and also her opposition to the massive illegal immigration currently taking place at the Southern Border.
“Alabama values aren’t complicated,” said Dobson. “God and family, but that takes freedom. Freedom to have a voice in our kid’s education, to feel safe, freedom to worship. But Biden’s reckless policies are crippling us. Illegals flooding in while our towns die on the vine.”
“Alabama deserves better.”
The Republican Primary for District 2 will be held on March 5.
