Auburn men’s basketball head coach Bruce Pearl weighed in on the state of affairs in the nation after video circulated social media from Duke University’s graduation.
A small group of pro-Palestine protestors in the graduating class walked out when the guest speaker of honor, famous comedian Jerry Seinfeld, was introduced to speak.
The students who walked out did so in protest of Seinfeld’s proud Jewish heritage. Pearl commented on the walk-out on his X account as he has done many times on issues related to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
Hamas killed, raped and tortured 2100 innocent people including 45 Americans! They took hundreds hostage and are still hiding them in Gaza. The Duke Administration says they understand how strongly some people feel.. they have no idea. Am Yisrael Chai 🇮🇱🇺🇸 https://t.co/mMjyejWZIk

“Hamas killed, raped and tortured 2100 innocent people including 45 Americans! They took hundreds hostage and are still hiding them in Gaza. The Duke Administration says they understand how strongly some people feel.. they have no idea. Am Yisrael Chai,” he tweeted.
Pearl has used his social media to comment on the state of world politics many times throughout the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
Whether people like it or not, and there is certainly many who do not, the Auburn head coach is going to continue to stand up for what he believes in and not shy away from discussing his thoughts.
