Steve Nodine’s potential candidacy for U.S. House got some media time from MSNBC’s Chris Matthews today.
“What’s one of the worst possible places to launch and carry out a congressional campaign?” Matthews asked on Hardball. “Well, ask Stephen Nodine… who’s considering a run for the United States Congress. He happens to be serving out right now a two-year prison sentence on charges of perjury and harassment.”
Matthews said Nodine is undeterred by the difficulty of launching a campaign while spending weekends in jail.
“That’s not stopping him,” Matthews quipped. “Since he wouldn’t be able to hold any in-person campaign events, Nodine says he would focus on social media.”
