Birmingham-based Peritus Public Relations (Peritus PR) has been selected as Alabama’s exclusive member of the Public Relations Global Network (PRGN), the firm announced this week.
PRGN represents over 50 leading public relations firms around the world. Through collaborating with peers across the globe and raising awareness of Alabama’s impact, Peritus PR advised that this unique opportunity will enable the firm to strengthen its public relations practice, leadership development and client management.
“Representing Alabama within this global public relations network equips Peritus PR with more opportunities and resources to connect our communities and move our region forward,” commented Louise Oliver, APR, founder and president of Peritus PR. “This affiliation allows us to leverage innovative global training programs to create a visionary agency culture inspiring the next generation of Alabama PR professionals.”
Established in 1992, PRGN provides an international network for members like Peritus PR to enhance their capabilities through this affiliation. The alliance of communications firms carefully selects members for their unique specializations and competitive advantages and together, provide global reach, resources and impact. Peritus’ team and clients benefit from access to cultural training, economic insights, media relationships and a trusted network of worldwide relationships.
“The network is excited to welcome Peritus PR to the PRGN family of globally-connected communications professionals,” stated Alexandra Dinita, president of PRGN and general manager of Free Communication in Bucharest, Romania. “With Peritus PR, PRGN furthers its coverage in the United States where local representation, especially in community relations, is key. Peritus not only extends PRGN’s international coverage, but also adds to the global expertise and service capabilities of our network.”
The newly announced affiliation is not a merger or acquisition; PRGN members — including Peritus PR — are independent, locally-owned and operated communications firms.
