Birmingham-based national personal injury law firm Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys on Wednesday announced the launch of its inaugural “Call Me Alabama Scholarship.”
According to the firm, the scholarship will provide financial assistance to three law students in Alabama for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Alexander Shunnarah, founder and president of Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys, noted that the scholarship was launched to assist the “next generation of judicial advocates” pursue their ambitions in the legal profession.
“As a born and raised Alabamian, I am passionate about the future of our state and the next generation of judicial advocates,” stated Shunnarah in a release. “I’m urging all law students in Alabama to call on me for an investment in their future, so I can help equip them with additional resources and tools to serve our great state.”
The three winners of the annual “Call Me Alabama Scholarship” will receive up to $5,000 for tuition or education expenses. The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the awardees’ schools.
Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys advised that the scholarship’s application process opened June 1 and closes July 31. Winners of the “Call Me Alabama Scholarship” will be announced on September 15.
