The Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers will are shaking things up at kickoff when they take the field in two weeks in Baton Rouge.
With the game time being revealed for a 2:30 pm kickoff in Tiger Stadium, it’s the first time these two rivals will face off in this venue during the day since 2010.

The games in 2008 and 2000 in Baton Rouge were also at 2:30, but every other edition of Alabama vs. LSU in Tiger Stadium this century has been under the lights.
Instead, Georgia and Ole Miss will get the 6:30 time slot, and with Miami and Notre Dame also facing off at night, it’s an absolutely loaded slate which could decide the rest of the season in a big way.
While Tide fans may be happy to know the team will not be walking into the vaunted Tiger Stadium at night, it’s worth noting the 2010 game was won by LSU 24-21, handing Alabama a second loss that season and ending Nick Saban’s first quest for back-to-back national titles in Tuscaloosa.
Now, it will be Lane Kiffin and Kalen DeBoer on each sideline for another huge edition of the rivalry.
