The eyes of the entire nation will be on New Orleans this weekend when the Kansas City Chiefs attempt to make NFL history and win an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl by defeating Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
During Super Bowl media day this week, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes – known across the league as the best on the planet at the position and already one of the best in the history of the sport – was asked about his faith and what Jesus Christ means to him and delivered a thought-provoking answer in response.
Patrick Mahomes – “Jesus is my Lord and Savior. It’s someone that I lookup every single day to decide what I want to do with my life, and how I want to live my life. Jesus is everything to me at the end of the day. I always lean on Acts 20:7-12.” 🙌🙏 pic.twitter.com/ADAGalzY4B

“Jesus is my Lord and Savior,” said Mahomes. “He’s someone that I look up to every single day to decide what I want to do with my life, and how I want to live my life. Jesus is everything to me at the end of the day.”
Mahomes pointed to a bible verse that has held special significance throughout his life and career.
“I always lean on Acts 20:7-12,” he said. “It’s about a boy named Eutychus and his faith, listening to a sermon and falling and dying and coming back to life. It spoke to me at that moment of how I need to live my life and be fully invested in God.”
Despite the Super Bowl titles and league MVPs, Mahomes continues to lean on his faith and serve as a positive role model for fans all around the world.
