7. Two Tennessee lawmakers were expelled from the Tennessee State House for breaking House rules, so the media is pretending it is over race and gun control. Former Alabama U.S. Sen. Doug Jones (D-Mountain Brook) fell for it and gave them money,

After bills focused on distracted driving and smoking with kids in the car seemed to run into questions over enforcement being focused on minorities, for some reason, the Alabama State Senate passed a bill intended to crack down on street racing, which appears to be enjoyed by crowds that are overwhelming black.
5. The Biden administration is actually doing a victory lap on their Afghanistan withdrawal somehow. Fox News’ Peter Doocey asked National Security Council spokesman John Kirby, “You’re saying you guys are proud of the way this mission was conducted? You’re proud of that?” and Kirby said, “You bet.”
4. Birmingham-Southern College will remain open until the end of the fall semester after $40-plus million in private donations were secured, but much more needs to be raised. In good news for the school, Alabama House Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter floated the idea that a loan is possible for the school after dismissing a bailout for the school in the past.
3. The allegedly invisible transgender community picked up two big wins yesterday when the Supreme Court declared a biological male 12-year-old should be able to run track as a girl. The Department of Education declared they won’t accept categorical bans that would require transgender athletes to compete in sports determined by their biological gender, meaning bans could happen in high school but not elementary school. Alabama may have something to say about this.
2. Another transgender shooter was preparing to target schools, this time in Colorado, but law enforcement snuffed it out. When found, the biological female who is transitioning to male, had political commentators listed in her manifesto and said she was “about a third of the way from doing it.”
1. The judge overseeing the case involving Donald Trump gave money to Democrats in 2020 totaling $35. While the amount may seem insignificant, the groups he gave to lay out a very specific agenda include $15 to the Biden campaign, $10 to the Progressive Turnout Alliance, and $10 to Stop Republicans. The judge is forbidden from doing this, the American Bar Association states that judges are banned from, “soliciting funds for, paying an assessment to, or making a contribution to a political organization or candidate.”
