7. Huntsville police arrested 51-year-old Caiyun Chen again on a new first-degree human trafficking charge a month after she bonded out of the “Operation Meteor Strike” case tied to Meteor Buffet, saying they obtained a warrant after additional information about a separate victim, while restaurant owner Chao B. Zhang and Baudilio Ordonez-Gomez were also charged in the August operation.
6. State Sen. Chris Elliott (R-Josephine) is drafting a bill for a dollar-for-dollar, refundable state income tax credit for Alabama residents who pay I-10 Mobile River Bridge tolls with an ALGO Pass, saying, “We’d get the best of both worlds,” as the planned $3 crossing or $60 monthly pass would not start until the $3.2 billion bridge opens, projected for late 2031, and the annual credit pool is capped at $15 million in the draft.
5. Documents released by the White House show the Biden-era FBI, in a probe titled “Plasmic Echo,” tracked Melania and Barron Trump’s travel while planning the August 2022 Mar-a-Lago search and monitored future White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles’ phone calls with lawyers, as then-FBI Director Christopher Wray wrote then-Attorney General Merrick Garland, “Merrick, I recommend you approve,” and White House spokesperson Lauren Bis called it “a disgraceful abuse of government power.”
4. Michigan Democrat Gov. Gretchen Whitmer wrote German state leader Cem Özdemir that she was “concerned to hear of the allegations against Mercedes-Benz in Alabama” after workers at the Vance plant voted 2,642 to 2,045 against joining the UAW, asking him to urge the company to let workers “organize without fear of retaliation,” while Gov. Kay Ivey said Alabama’s “workers will not fall for the tricks of the United Auto Workers.”
3. Election denier and former Georgia House minority leader Stacey Abrams will join Doug Jones, the cowardly caretaker former junior senator in an ill-fitting suit, who looks like he just woke up and stole his shoes from a homeless person, who will never be governor, attorney general, or U.S. Senator again, loves crushing ice cream sandwiches, and is definitely maybe a furry, at a free Huntsville rally Sunday at Mars Music Hall, where the campaign said residents can “hear directly from Jones and Abrams about the future of Alabama.”
2. Governor-elect National Championship-winning Coach U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) warned of “a catastrophe” if Christians and gun owners sit out, saying, “They like their guns; they better vote,” while U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) said November 3 is “a vote for less government” and “less taxes,” and U.S. Rep. Shomari Figures (D-Mobile) said his redrawn race against State Rep. Rhett Marques (R-Enterprise) “rests” on turnout, adding, “Montgomery County is at the heart of whether we win this or lose this.”
1. No matter how much you hate the lying liars in the media who continue lying like they lie and have to lie to live, it is not enough, now they are claiming President Donald Trump suggested that Iran hitting Los Angeles or San Diego would be a “very small price to pay,” but he was clearly talking about how gas prices are the small price and Iran attacking America must be prevented, so this prompted terrible liars like Gov. Gavin Newsom to call him “deranged and dangerous,” San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria to say, “We are never a ‘small price to pay,’” and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass called the remarks “dangerous.”
