7. Inflation is shocking many Americans these days, none more than President Joe Biden who found himself shocked about a $6 smoothie but the White House decided to lie about the exchange anyway. Biden was surprised by the cost and even though inflation is a huge issue for this President, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insisted the President was just joking about one of his biggest liabilities.
6. The Houthis rebels and their Iranian handlers continue their war against American assets and commercial shipping in the Middle East but many believe none of this would be happening if President Joe Biden wasn’t so weak. U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) noted that the Houthis were recently redesignated as a terror group and added, “President Biden and his administration has continued on with being 100% wrong in any decision he’s made foreign relation wise, not just his tenure as President but over his last 40 years of being in politics.”
5. Everyone seems to want to keep a convicted killer alive and unexecuted, the United Nations is continued to demand the execution of Kenneth Eugene Smith be paused after he was convicted of being paid by a pastor to kill his wife. Smith’s lawyer is begging an appeals court for help, while his “spiritual advisor” is still pretending the execution could put him at risk as well, a risk I am willing to take.
4. After almost 4 years of the Department of Justice, President Joe Biden, Democrats, and their media claiming the Hunter Biden laptop was a misinformation ploy, it has now been confirmed it is real. They have all known this from the very beginning and lied to impact the 2020 elections.
3. 39 northern Alabama counties continue to have freezing temperatures which are causing a ton of road issues and forcing schools to either close for another day or go virtual, this will continue into Friday with a week-long severe weather event.
2. Democrats are finally getting fed up with the border in Washington, D.C., not enough to do anything serious but they made some totally hilarious speeches. Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) says it is racist to send illegals to sanctuary cities while Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) wrote a resolution suggesting we remove the Statue of Liberty because Republicans want border enforcement.
1. To deal with the issue of the border and budget deals, President Joe Biden invited Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) to the White House and the meeting ended with no understanding. Schumer left the meeting, went to the cameras and insisted that border security is not a priority for his caucus because they would prefer to fund Ukraine first without serious border enforcement but that seems to be a problem for Speaker Johnson and Republicans.
