7 Things: Alabama loses in overtime; Trump and Biden oddly ring in 2024; and more …

7. More disruptions to travel, shopping, celebrations, and everyday life become a weapon of pro-Hamas protestors. Americans’ tolerance for this is not going to go on much longer.

6. President Joe Biden will not do his job when it comes to protecting our borders and now he is threatening to sue any state that will. Democrat mayors are furious that their cities are having to deal with the open borders they support.

5. Former President Bill Clinton is expected to be “exposed” in the release of records of convicted sex offender Jefferey Epstein. He is not going to be the only one.

4. Birmingham, one of America’s most dangerous cities, has seen a decrease in murders after 4 straight years of increases. The number of murders is still one of the highest years the city has ever seen, even though the population has dropped.

3. The war in Israel will not be over anytime soon according to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who sees the war lasting all of 2024 as it enters a new phase. The problem with Iran-backed groups shows no sign of slowing down despite more aggressive and lethal actions by the United States military.

2. President Joe Biden rang in 2024 by telling ABC’s Ryan Seacrest that his favorite memory of 2023 was that people lost their jobs. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump hung out with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Vanilla Ice while Truth Social-ing (?) about those attempting to “destroy our nation through lawfare, invasion and rigging elections.”

1. Alabama football comes up short against Michigan 27-20 in overtime in the last year of the four-team College Football Playoff. Auburn was destroyed by 31-14, but the bigger football story outside of the Rose Bowl is probably how Georgia destroyed Florida State’s argument for playoff contention.
