While the UAB Blazers have not had a great season under first year head coach Trent Dilfer sitting at 4-8 and failing to secure bowl eligibility, it has still been a historic season for their quarterback Jacob Zeno.
Zeno ranked near the top of college football across several different categories including 3rd nationally in completion percentage (73.6%), 7th in completions per game with 25.4, 15th in passing yards per game with 284.5.

He also became just the third player in school history to throw for 3,000 yards in a season, joining Darrell Hackney and John Whitcomb who each accomplished the feat twice.

In a thrilling 45-42 November win over Florida Atlantic, Zeno threw for a ridiculous 484 yards and five touchdowns to help the Blazers earn a big win:

Huge game for Zeno as he relied on Palmer for a lot of those yds, but still distributed the ball through out as each TD went to a diff WR
Hit on some big vertical plays & also was stellar off play action @BlazerPod pic.twitter.com/OkbWEaFRgk

Zeno transferred to UAB from Baylor last season and took over this season as the full-time starter. He is listed as a redshirt junior and will have another year of eligibility should he choose to use it.
