When Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall went to Washington, D.C. this week, his intention was to speak about the record of Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson during her confirmation hearings. Yet, somehow General Marshall ends up being questioned about the 2020 presidential election.
U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) decides to use Marshall’s testimony as an opportunity drive a different narrative, but the Alabama attorney general held his ground. This is not the first time Senator Whitehouse tries and fails to make a point. His attempts to discredit now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearing are also laughable.
