Watch: Mountain Brook graduate, Auburn student Mary Katherine Malone sings national anthem at Final Four game

Before the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four semifinal between Auburn and Florida, Auburn University freshman and Mountain Brook High School alumna Mary Katherine Malone performed the national anthem as part of a quartet representing each participating school.

Malone, a distance runner for Auburn’s cross-country and track and field teams, joined student-athletes from Duke, Florida, and Houston in the performance at the Alamodome.

They delivered a spectacular performance in front of the massive crowd:

While Malone’s Tigers would lose to the Florida Gators, she surely made everyone on The Plains and in her hometown of Mountain Brook extremely proud with her rendition to honor America.
