The Alabama Crimson Tide has sent countless players to the pro level both on the football field and on the basketball court, but the city of Charlotte just so happens to have the great fortune of having two of the best Alabama athletes in recent memory.
Former Crimson Tide basketball star Brandon Miller – who led what was one of the best team’s in the history of the program to a No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament as a freshman in his lone season in Tuscaloosa – has taken the NBA by storm since the Charlotte Hornets drafted him with the No. 2 overall pick two years ago.
Legendary Alabama quarterback Bryce Young was drafted No. 1 overall by the Carolina Panthers two years ago and though he struggled through his first season and the early part of this season, he has figured it out and was tremendous down the stretch for the Panthers.
The dynamic duo linked up at a Hornets game where Miller signed a jersey for Young and even added a nice ‘RTR’ to the signature:

Miller is averaging over 21 points per game this season with just under five rebounds per game and shooting 35.6 percent from the three-point line.
Bryce Young finished his second season with what was probably the best performance of his career thus far in a victory against the Atlanta Falcons, throwing for over 250 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions and a score on the ground as well.
While there’s still work for both to do in order to make the teams competitive, it’s safe to say the pair of Crimson Tide legends are two of the most popular people in the entire city.
