TVA awards $246,500 in STEM classroom grants

58 North Alabama schools are receiving over $200,00 in funding from a grant program sponsored by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA).

These TVA grants are STEM Classroom grants designed to meet the various educational needs of local communities.

TVA awarded $246,500 to 58 schools in North Alabama. This money will impact roughly 16,000 students, and each school will receive the funding this month.

TVA awarded $1.5 million in total across the seven states in its service territory, which includes Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Virginia.
