57 high school seniors from across Alabama recently received nominations to U.S. service academies courtesy of U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville.
Tuberville (R-Auburn), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Personnel for the Senate Armed Services Committee, announced the nominees late last week. It is the Senator’s fourth round of nominations since taking office in 2021.
“Our young people are the number one commodity we have in this country, and Alabama is home to the best and brightest,” Tuberville said. “I’m proud to represent a state with so many patriotic young leaders who want to serve in our nation’s military. It’s an honor to nominate 57 of these students for a service academy appointment. I have no doubt they will continue to make our state and country proud.”
