U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) and U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) criticized Dr. Anthony Fauci for refusing to answer questions about his response to the coronavirus pandemic during a Senate hearing.
Fauci, who led much of the COVID-19 response during the pandemic, repeatedly pled the Fifth during a Homeland Security Panel Wednesday.
“Anthony Fauci can write in his private diary about his ‘rising fame,’ but can’t answer for the harm he caused American families during a Senate hearing?” Moore asked on X. “This is the person the radical left believed was a hero during COVID. The American people will remember him as a disgrace.”

The hearing comes just days after Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) released Fauci’s diary entries, which he claims show Fauci lied to Congress.
“We lost 20 to 30,000 people in Alabama alone, and I hope every damn one of them sues this Dr. Fauci, puts him in court,” Tuberville said on Newsmax. “If we can’t put him in prison, let’s put him in court every day for the rest of his life, where he has to be punished and listen to the death that he caused.”
Fauci lied endlessly while TENS OF THOUSANDS of Alabamians died from COVID.

Fauci was pardoned by then President Joe Biden for any offenses he might have committed leading up to that point.
“Again, the vaccine, the death, the lies that he gave to President Trump, and then he took over for Biden, and Biden didn’t know what day it was, and so he was free to just run loose across this country and just lie when the truth he knew was totally different than what he was telling,” Tuberville continued.
“And again, it’s embarrassing for what this is the this is the best country on the face of the earth, and we had this fool as the NIAID director, I mean, it’s just absolutely appalling that he killed people, and people are still dying because of this vaccine.”
