Tuberville: ‘If Trump is elected, America will put veterans first again’

U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville has been a vocal advocate for America’s veterans and their families since first taking office in 2021. From passing beneficial legislation to VA site visits, Tuberville has made looking out for the country’s veterans a top priority during his time in Washington.

On Sunday, Tuberville (R-Auburn), who is a member of the U.S. Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, posted an article explaining why veterans should vote for President Donald Trump in tomorrow’s election.

“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have presided over one of the most incompetent, mismanaged Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in history,” wrote Tuberville. “The last thing our great veterans should have to worry about is whether or not they can access the benefits they have earned. Yet, veterans battle every day for their healthcare needs at the Biden-Harris VA. On behalf of the 400,000 veterans in the great state of Alabama, and millions more across the country, I want to send a clear message to the bureaucrats in Washington, D.C.: enough is enough.”

Tuberville believes that when heading to the voting booth, veterans across America should ask themselves if their experience with the VA is better today than it was four years ago under President Trump.

“I’ve heard from many veterans that the answer is a resounding “no.” This is why I am urging all veterans to turn the page on Kamala Harris’ plan to continue putting veterans last. By reelecting Donald J. Trump on November 5, America will put veterans first again.”

In closing, he stressed that the “bravest among us deserve better.”

“That is why, on Tuesday, November 5, I encourage America’s veterans to reject Kamala Harris and elect Donald J. Trump to be the 47th President of the United States. With President Trump back in the White House, we will see the sacred mission of the VA restored and our veterans treated with the honor and dignity they deserve.”
