Trump: Coronavirus ‘no match for the spirit and resolve of the American people’

President Donald Trump continues to rally the American people as our nation deals with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Trump has been holding daily televised press conferences along with members of his Coronavirus Task Force, and the president has also been active on his favorite social media platform regarding coronavirus.

“I want all Americans to understand: we are at war with an invisible enemy, but that enemy is no match for the spirit and resolve of the American people,” Trump tweeted. “It cannot overcome the dedication of our doctors, nurses, and scientists — and it cannot beat the LOVE, PATRIOTISM, and DETERMINATION of our citizens. Strong and United, WE WILL PREVAIL!”

Trump later in the day spoke to a group of frontline medical professionals about coronavirus response.

“Today I spoke with American physicians and nurses to thank them for their tireless work. Doctors and nurses are at the front lines of this war and are true American HEROES! With their help, America will WIN,” Trump tweeted.

Additionally, the president on Wednesday also released a video of him speaking directly to the American people from the Rose Garden. “STRONG & UNITED, WE WILL PREVAIL!” he said in a caption sharing the video.
