One of Alabama’s most famed waterparks has recently been nominated in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards for the title of Best Indoor Waterpark in the entire country.
“We are thrilled to be nominated in USA Today’s Readers’ Choice Awards, and hope
everyone will join us in voting for Tropic Falls as their favorite indoor water park,” said
Cody Williamson, President/CEO of Creek Indian Enterprises Development Authority. “We
all know that Tropic Falls is the place for year-round fun on the Gulf Coast regardless of
the weather, and now it’s our chance to share it nationwide.”
Tropic Falls features water attractions for all ages.
Guests have the option to choose from over 11 water slides and will also have access to the Castaway Creek lazy river. For younger visitors there is Tuki’s Tower, which has a five-slide tropical playground and a 1,000-gallon dump bucket. The Foley based location is also the only indoor waterpark in the U.S with both a retractable roof and sidewall adjoining an outdoor water park.
The nominees were selected by theme park experts, travel writers, and the editors of USA Today. Voters will narrow down each category to the ten best by voting for their favorites.
Voting continues now through April 22 with winners scheduled to be announced on May 1.
