The lineup for SlossFest, set to take place in Birmingham, is blowing minds

Ryan Adams, Ray Lamontagne, Death Cab for Cutie and the Flaming Lips will headline the second Sloss Music & Arts Festival.

The July 16-17 event at Birmingham’s Sloss Furnaces will also feature Ben Harper and the Birmingham debuts of The Arcs and Grouplove.

Organizers today announced the 30-plus acts who will play SlossFest, which debuted last year featuring headliners Avett Brothers, Modest Mouse, Primus and Band of Horses.

Once again, the festival will feature three stages set amid the Historic Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark. The weekend will also feature handcrafted cocktails in the Redmont Vodka Lounge, a beer garden and live iron pourings. New this year will be the ability to use the Shipt app for food, beverage and merchandise delivery, as well as a technology-focused event on Friday.

There are three ticket options for SlossFest, all of which go on sale Friday, March 4, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster and at slossfest.com. General Admission two-day passes will start at $115; “Iron” passes include access to air-conditioned tents on site; VIP tickets offer other amenities (see the website for those). All tickets are for the entire two-day weekend.

The core of the festival is its music lineup, and though the specific schedule has not been announced, 31 acts have been announced for the weekend:

Ryan Adams: The singer-songwriter, who has multiple Grammy nominations, will perform in Birmingham for the first time since 2009. “1989,” his cover of Taylor Swift’s album of the same name, was released in 2015 to critical acclaim.

Ray Lamontagne + Friends: Birmingham favorite Lamontagne has a new album, “Ourobros,” scheduled for release on Friday. Here, his “Friends” will be members of the band My Morning Jacket.

Death Cab for Cutie: The band hasn’t played in Birmingham since 2011.

Ben Harper: The Grammy winner has reunited and is touring with his band, the Innocent Criminals, after the release of their first album in eight years.

The Flaming Lips: Wayne Coyne and his psychedelic rock band, known for their on-stage theatrics, return to Birmingham.

The Arcs: The band fronted by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys makes its Birmingham debut.

Grouplove: The festival favorites, who have played Bonnaroo, Coachella and Lollapalooza, perform in Birmingham for the first time.

Anderson East, Washed Out, Dylan LeBlanc, the Burning Peppermints: All four have Alabama ties. East is from Athens; Washed Out is former Birmingham resident Ernest Greene; LeBlanc is from Muscle Shoals and the Burning Peppermints are from Birmingham.

Also confirmed for SlossFest are Logic, Fitz & the Tantrums, Glass Animals, Dr. Dog, Shovels & Rope, Sylvan Esso, Ghostland Observatory, Betty Who, Danny Brown, JR JR, the Joy Formidable, White Denim, Hudson Mohawke, Banners, Escondido, Steve Gunn, Seratones, Bright Light Social Hour, Los Colognes and Boom Forest.
