Yesterday afternoon, Brilyn Hollyhand and Caroleene Dobson teamed up at the Alabama GOP headquarters to energize voters ahead of the 2024 election in November. Hollyhand, an Alabama native and youth GOP activist, made a name for himself after founding the news service ‘The Truth Gazette” at age 11.
Hollyhand has since become a vocal advocate of GOP candidates and causes while conducting interviews with some of the Republican Party’s most influential figures.Brilyn fully endorsed Caroleene Dobson in the newly drawn congressional district that includes parts of Mobile, Troy, and Montgomery.
In his endorsement, Hollyhand said that “Reclaiming the White House and the Senate means nothing if we don’t keep the House. That’s why I’m proud to endorse my friend Caroleene in AL-2!”
“She’s a fighter who will be your conservative voice on the Hill. I’m committed to helping her win my peers’ support in November!” said Brilyn.
The youth GOP activist has already begun campaigning for Dobson, including reaching out to youth voters and making media appearances in her district.

Polling from the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) showed that President Biden and Donald Trump are in a statistical tie in Alabama’s 2nd congressional district, indicating that this newly drawn district is anyone’s race to win.
Caroleene Dobson was born and raised in Beatrice, Alabama where she grew up on her family’s fifth generation cattle farm. Dobson is a mother of two, an attorney, and lifelong advocate for conservative values.
Dobson attended Harvard College, earning a degree in history and literature. As a student at Harvard, Caroleene was an active member of the Harvard Republican Club, advocating for conservative values on campus. Dobson went on to receive her law degree from Baylor and currently practices real estate law at Maynard Nexsen Law Firm.
Her opponent, Shomari Figures Shomari recently endorsed Kamala Harris for President.
Voting in this race will take place during the general election on November 5th. You can find information about your polling location and district here.
