Reps. Strong, Carl replace American flags torn down by anti-Israel agitators in Washington

U.S. Reps. Dale Strong (R-Monrovia) and Jerry Carl (R-Mobile) showed their support for the American flag after some in Washington D.C. were desecrated by anti-Israel protesters.

During Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the Capitol Wednesday, radical pro-Palestinian mobs vandalized monuments and American flags across the nation’s capital.

Viral video shows anti-Israel rioters taking down American flags and burning them outside Union Station. The agitators also put up Palestine flags in their place.

A group of Republican members of the House of Representatives, led by Speaker Mike Johnson, visited the site Wednesday night and put up new American flags.

Strong and Carl were among the group working to replace the flags.

“They took our flags down today and put Hamas flags up at Union Station in Washington D.C.,” Strong said while at Union Station. “We’re not putting up with it. Let’s put these flags back up, what do you say?”

“We found three flags in my office,” Carl said, “and we came over here and we put them back up with the help of a whole lot of our friends from law enforcement, as well as the Speaker of the House…so our flags are flying again. We’ll be here tomorrow, if they take them down tomorrow, we’ll be back tomorrow. American flags will always fly above this Capitol.”
