As another dangerous and potentially deadly hurricane is set to make landfall in Florida in a few days, communities in Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina are still struggling to get all the necessary federal assistance to recover and rebuild from the damage caused by Hurricane Helene.
Unfortunately, the response from the Biden-Harris administration has been weak, slow, and yet again showcases their America-last agenda.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), which should have been fully prepared to support these communities, has completely failed its responsibilities because they spent $1.4 billion on illegal migrant programs and are now short on cash.
These are migrants that should have never been in the United States in the first place, but the Biden-Harris administration has rolled out the red carpet for them and welcomed them with open arms. Now, they are using our tax dollars to take care of them while Americans suffer.
FEMA has been advertising online for different disaster assistance the agency is giving to “qualified non-citizens.” These programs are costing the taxpayers billions of dollars and draining FEMA’s resources. Just last month, Congress provided an additional $20 billion extra dollars (with immediate availability) to FEMA so they will have all the funds they need to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
While this is a necessary step, I am going to do everything I can to make sure every penny of this money goes only to American citizens in need. Illegal immigrants should never receive one dime from FEMA while American citizens are suffering.
The failed response to Hurricane Helene is just the latest example of the Biden-Harris administration’s America last agenda.
We should be taking care of Americans first before we take care of anyone else, and we cannot allow this Administration to put the needs of illegal immigrants above the needs of American citizens. I will continue doing all I can to stop the Biden-Harris agenda dead in its tracks and put Americans first.
