Alabama, led by sophomore quarterback Keelon Russell and an offense that is starting to hum, heads to Starkville this weekend to face Mississippi State.
After years at the depths of the conference, the Bulldogs have a phenomenal quarterback of their own in Kamario Taylor, setting up potentially the QB matchup of the season between Taylor and Russell.

The only problem?
Nasty weather is expected to hit the entire Southeast on Saturday and wet conditions are anticipated during the game.
In a game expected to be a shootout as two phenomenal quarterbacks duke it out, a massive rainstorm would certainly make it tougher for each to have significant success through the air.
It would certainly be a shame if this game – which has the potential to be a high level display of quarterbacking between two future first round picks – turned into a muddy slog where the ball has to be kept on the ground.
Fans of both programs are certainly hoping Starkville is spared from the worst of the storms, and if it is, this could be one of the best games of the season between Alabama and Mississippi State.
