Alabama ‘Outstanding Young Farm Family’ on state, national broadcast

This month, Brady and Anna Peek of Limestone County were named Alabama’s 2023 Outstanding Young Farm Family. For earning that honor, the Peeks will receive nearly $80,000 in prizes along with statewide and national exposure in a feature on “Simply Southern TV.”

“Brady and Anna are such a cute couple. They support each other’s dreams, and they have a growing family; they just had their first child, Ridgeway, in July,” said “Simply Southern TV” co-host Mary Wilson. “Their story is so moving. Brady started farming family land when he was just 16 years old, four years after his dad stopped farming.

“Together, Brady and Anna have built an impressive farm, especially considering they live in an area where land is more likely to be developed than it is to stay as farmland.”
