Bond, who elected to enter the transfer portal shortly after Nick Saban announced his retirement, was a huge part of Alabama’s SEC-championship winning offense in 2023.
The duo of Milroe and Bond in 2023 combined for nearly 700 yards along with four touchdowns including the legendary 4th and 31 play to take down Auburn in the Iron Bowl.
Milroe enters year two as the starting quarterback for Alabama following a season in which he seemed to get better every week.

He is considered one of the favorites to win the Heisman trophy with the 5th highest odds in the country according to FanDuel.
Bond meanwhile will get the opportunity to catch passes from the man with the best Heisman odds, Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers.
While Crimson Tide fans are likely still not thrilled with the way things ended with Bond, he is undoubtedly still among the nation’s best receivers in the nation and has a chance to have another great season.
Milroe on the other hand has a chance to help lay the groundwork in a new era of Crimson Tide football under new head coach Kalen DeBoer.
