The LSU Tigers have once again proven themselves to be the premier program in college baseball, winning their eighth national title over the weekend and second in the last three years.
LSU defeated Coastal Carolina two games to none in the best-of-three College World Series championship in Omaha to clinch the victory and establish itself as the national standard going forward.

The first game on Friday night was extremely dramatic, and the Tigers wound up winning 1-0 thanks to their ace pitcher, Kade Anderson. Throwing a staggering 130 pitches, the LSU left-hander earned the complete game shutout while striking out 10 Chanticleers:

The second game brought fireworks as well as Coastal head coach Kevin Schnall was tossed for arguing balls and strikes during the first inning.
Kevin Schnall walks slightly out of his dugout and yells…
“You missed 3 pitches.”

LSU went on to win the game by a score of 5-3, claiming the title.
For Head Coach Jay Johnson, it’s the second national title since taking over in Baton Rouge back in 2022. Through Johnson, the Tigers have once again established themselves as the team to beat in college baseball.
