Katie Britt: ‘The story of America’s successful mission striking Iran’s nuclear facilities will be told for generations’

U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) is praising the U.S. military’s successful operation in the Middle East that destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities.

“Operation Midnight Hammer” included B2 bombers that saw the first ever deployment of the massive ordinance penetrator (MOP). Additionally, 30 Tomahawk missiles launched from a submarine struck two of the facilities.

“The story of America’s successful mission striking Iran’s nuclear facilities will be told for generations,” Britt said on X. “The U.S. military is the strongest, most skilled, and capable in the world. God bless our troops.”

The senator also praised President Donald Trump’s leadership in deciding to take action against the Iranian regime during a recent appearance on “Alabama’s Morning News with JT.”

“I think the lesson of this weekend is two-fold,” Britt said. “One is when this president speaks you better listen because he is unafraid to act, and two that the American military is strong and vibrant and to be feared.”

Britt also discussed the response she has seen from colleagues on the other side of the aisle.

“There silence has never been louder,” she argued. “The reason for that is Donald Trump just keeps winning. For years, whether it’s Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden or Barak Obama, they have said that the nuclear program in Iran should not exist, yet none of them were able to achieve what Donald Trump did.”

Britt applauded the President Tuesday night on Fox News saying Trump deserves to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for what he’s been able to accomplish in the region.

“President Trump is going to win the Nobel Peace Prize. No doubt. You look at what he’s done with the Congo and Rwanda,” she said. “You look at where he is with Pakistan and India and what he’s done there, and then you look at this. What everyone talked about, but no one thought was possible. He has brought peace to a region that needed stability. He has shown what America First policy actually is. He makes sure that he’s preserving American lives at every single turn.”
