Katie Britt praised for ‘A+’ pro-life record in Senate

The Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s Candidate Fund, formerly known as SBA List, bestowed an A+ rating on U.S. Senator Katie Britt for her advocacy in support of the sanctity of life.

“Katie Britt is an outspoken advocate for the unborn, and we could not be more excited to welcome her to the ranks of pro-life women in Washington,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of SBA Pro-Life America.”

According to Britt, a mother of two, protecting life extends well beyond the womb.

“With every woman, for every child. Today marks the 51st annual March for Life. To everyone across our nation who continues to fight for the sanctity of life—THANK YOU. I will always proudly defend life so that every child across our nation can achieve their American Dream,” Britt said last week.

The 51st annual March for Life, a peaceful march held annually on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.

Britt has advocated for stopping the use of tax dollars for abortion, both domestically and internationally, and criticized the Biden administration’s extreme abortion executive actions.

Last year, Britt exposed training slides used by U.S. Marshals assigned to protect Supreme Court justices’ homes after Roe v. Wade reversal.

The slides instructed Marshals not to arrest protesters “unless absolutely necessary,” raising concerns about the protection of justices and the enforcement of federal law prohibiting interference with the administration of justice near a judge’s residence.

Britt’s questioning of Attorney General Merrick Garland during a Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing brought the concerning policies to light. Garland, unaware of the training materials, claimed that Marshals were empowered to decide on arrests in the field. But the slides contradicted his response under oath.

Questions linger about why no arrests were made under the federal law prohibiting interference with the administration of justice.

As a leading communicator of pro-life policy issues in Washington, Britt encouraged Republican Party candidates to expose Democrats’ radical position on the issue of abortion in 2024 and beyond.

“We know that the Democrats have an extreme policy and yet we’ve allowed them to control the airwaves and deflect from that,” Britt argued in a recent interview.

“It was last year when every single Democrat voted to be able to take the life of a child the moment before a child was born. And that’s not something that we should allow them to run from. I believe that is not where people in this nation are.”
