2026 Alabama Attorney General candidate Katherine Robertson picked up an endorsement this week from a prominent conservative group that claims to endorse and raise money for candidates who stay true to the fundamental principles of limited government and economic freedom.
Club for Growth PAC announced their official support of Robertson this week, saying they are “proud” to endorse the chief counsel to the current Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall.

“Club for Growth PAC is proud to endorse Katherine Robertson for Attorney General of Alabama,” the release said. “Katherine has spent her career fighting federal overreach and standing up for conservative values. As the longest-serving Chief Counsel in Alabama history, she has a proven record of delivering results for the people of Alabama. We’re proud to stand with her.”
“Earning the Club for Growth’s endorsement is important because I share its bedrock principles of limiting government, opposing overregulation, and ending frivolous lawsuits that clog our court system and hurt businesses’ ability to grow our economy,” Robertson said in response to the endorsement.
“Most importantly, the Club for Growth and I both stand shoulder-to-shoulder with President Trump in always putting America first and making the greatest nation the world has ever known even greater. I am proud to carry the Club for Growth’s conservative seal of approval.”
According to a polling memo reviewed by Yellowhammer News – conducted earlier this month by Peak Insights – Robertson is leading the race with 28% support. Pamela Casey, who has been a local district attorney since 2010, is in second place with 14% support, while former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Jay Mitchell is reportedly in third with 12% support.
