Fine Geddie & Associates announced today the addition of Taylor Williams as a partner, adding a veteran governmental affairs and economic development leader to one of Alabama’s most established advocacy firms.

Williams is a perennial feature of Yellowhammer News’ annual Power & Influence: Top 50 list.

Founded in 1984 by Joseph L. Fine and Robert B. Geddie, the firm represents blue-chip corporate clients and business interests before the Alabama Legislature and state agencies, drawing on over 230 years of combined government affairs experience.

Its services include legislative lobbying, regulatory and agency advocacy, economic development, research and monitoring, public relations, and local government advocacy.

Williams joins Fine Geddie & Associates after nearly two decades at PowerSouth Energy, where he served as Vice President of External Affairs.

Williams has held various leadership roles spanning economic development and governmental relations, overseeing PowerSouth’s external affairs initiatives across Alabama, Florida, and Washington, D.C.

Prior to his time at PowerSouth, Williams served as Corporate Development Project Manager for the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, where he supported regional business recruitment and expansion.

Williams is active in civic and community leadership across Alabama. He is a past president of the Economic Development Association of Alabama and a graduate of Leadership Alabama Class XXXV.

He is a past president of the Montgomery Rotary Club, past Chairman of the Energy Institute of Alabama, and served on the Executive Committee of the Alabama Wildlife Federation.

Williams’ board roles also include the Montgomery Regional Airport Authority, The Montgomery Academy, Alabama Black Belt Adventures, and the Montgomery Regional Chamber’s Committee of 100.

Williams earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery.

Williams and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children and reside in Montgomery.
