Justin “JP” Plott: The Lindsay Clancy trial and narcissistic feminism

The trial of Lindsay Clancy this week has served as a tremendous show-all for toxic feminism over the last few weeks. With many supporters showing up to the trial and social media posts excusing her disgusting crimes, this response is a perfect example of how narcissistic feminism is degrading our society.

The sanctity of life has been pushed aside for selfishness, and murder is excused because it’s obviously everybody else’s fault. Postpartum depression and its validity aside, this is irrelevant to the case at hand. Your actions have consequences, no matter your gender, and the life of a child is to be protected at all costs. The hostility towards children, especially by mothers, is a sign of a society that desperately needs to turn back to Christ.

Lindsay Clancy has been charged with 3 counts of first-degree murder for the strangulation of her 3 children. This has sparked a massive online debate between feminists and others about how postpartum depression excuses her actions, how many mothers have thought about doing the same to their children, and, of course, whether it was the system that failed her or her husband that actually did it. Because God forbid modern feminists take accountability for their own actions.

The greatest gift that women hold is the ability to create life. Not only the creation of life within the womb, but also the nurturing and support of a child is one of, if not the, single greatest responsibilities any human being holds. Without the loving nurturing of mothers towards their children, a society collapses into chaos. We’re seeing that first-hand currently.

Psalm 139:13 states, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Life is sacred; it’s not of ours to take. God knit every single one of us together. The lack of sanctity one feels towards life is a direct result of their exaggerated sense of self. If you feel entitled to take a life, clearly you believe that you are God.

You are the dictator of who gets to live and who doesn’t. This sin is great not only because of the loss of life, but the elevation of oneself to that of God Almighty.

The innocence of a child is one of the most beautiful things on this Earth. They are white as snow, and innocent as doves. They cannot defend themselves. Clora, Dawson, and Callan Clancy had no choice. Aged 5, 3, and 8 months, their lives were solely placed in the hands of their parents.

God entrusted Lindsay with the lives of these 3, and she violated that trust. Those children died at the hands of the one person on this Earth whom they should’ve trusted the most. The last person who should’ve endangered them was the one who took their right to live.

An estimated 1,126,000 abortions took place in the United States in 2025, according to the Guttmacher Institute. These lives were mostly taken as a direct result of narcissistic feminism. The belief is that a woman can sleep with whomever they please and simply murder their child because of inconvenience. These are the same women who value so little the value of the lives of Clora, Dawson, and Callan. Murder is just a price worth paying for one’s own comfort.

Lindsay Clancy deserves the death penalty, period. That actually is too light a sentence. She deserves it 3 times over for the 3 innocent lives she willingly took. Shame on the women who are voicing their support for such a murderer. Our nation needs Jesus. The Lord weeps over the children who are being slaughtered at the hands of modern feminism.

If we cannot entrust our own women and mothers to honor the sanctity of the lives of their own children, then I fear not many political solutions will save us. Only Jesus can save us from this depravity, and I pray for the souls of Lindsay and her supporters greatly.
