Alabama businesses looking to shape the future of the state’s workforce can apply for the Innovate Alabama Talent Pilot Program until Friday at 5 p.m. CST.
The one-year pilot initiative aims to support Alabama-based industry partners in launching and testing innovative, work-based talent development models. These can include paid internships, STEM-focused education, and hands-on entrepreneurship training designed to strengthen the state’s talent pipeline.
Eligible proposals must:

Be led by an Alabama-based industry partner focused on talent development.

Target students or educators in K-12, higher education, or the adult workforce.

Emphasize STEM and/or entrepreneurship.

Demonstrate clear goals, measurable outcomes, and a plan for scalability.

Prioritize regional, rural, or collaborative efforts.
Organizations selected for the program will receive one-year grants to pilot strategies that better prepare Alabamians for future jobs and boost long-term workforce competitiveness across the state.
