The Home Builders Association of Alabama announced their endorsement of Wes Allen in the race for Lt. Governor today.

“The Home Builders Association of Alabama is proud to lend its endorsement to Wes Allen for Lt. Governor,” said 2026 HBAA President Jeremy Wright. “Wes is a proven leader who understands how important homeownership is to our economy and we look forward to working with him to make safe and affordable housing a reality for all Alabamians.”

The Home Builders Association of Alabama represents more than 7500 members across the state and seeks to serve as the advocate for Alabama’s housing and construction industries, promote the highest level of professionalism, assist its members and their respective local associations in legislative and regulatory affairs and provide quality services to meet its members’ needs.

“Biden’s four years as President drove up prices and inflation across all sectors of our economy, including in the residential building sector,” Wes Allen said. “By cutting unnecessary red tape that drives up prices for consumers and making it easier to do business in our state, we can begin to bring down those prices and make the possibility of a young family building their dream home an achievable goal once again.”

Wes Allen currently serves as Alabama’s Secretary of State and is seeking the Republican nomination to become Alabama’s next Lt. Governor. The primary election will be held on May 19, 2026.
