U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) blasted anti-Israel protests on college campuses Monday, calling them “antisemitic” and “anti-American.”
The protests plaguing our college campuses are not only antisemitic, but anti-American.
All politicians and political parties should refuse to accept contributions from the organizations and entities providing financial backing for these racist and anti-American demonstrations.

In response to the demonstrations, Palmer put forward a resolution to disapprove of the protests and those funding them.
“The protests plaguing our college campuses are not only antisemitic, but anti-American,” Palmer said. “My resolution not only denounces the protests, but also condemns those funding them. All politicians and political parties should refuse to accept contributions from the organizations and entities providing financial backing for these racist and anti-American demonstrations.”

The resolution specifically “condemns the anarchy and insurrection taking place on college campuses as well as the groups organizing it; condemns George Soros and all those who are funding the groups behind these protests; calls on all politicians and political parties of all ideologies to refuse to accept any contributions for any purpose from organizations and entities funding anti-American and antisemitic demonstrations; and calls for a full investigation of all foreign adversaries engaged in promoting and provoking campus and public unrest.”

This is not the first time the congressman has been critical of those funding the protests.
“There is a vast left wing conspiracy,” Palmer argued last month. “The same foundations and the families behind them that are funding NPR are also funding the protesters. They’re paying the people who are training these college kids to go out and protest. They’re funding Democratic candidates and are also providing the dark money for Democrat operatives.”
The resolution is co-sponsored by Reps. Burgess Owens (UT-04), Chuck Edwards (NC-11), Doug Lamborn (CO-05), Andy Ogles (TN-05), Pete Sessions (TX-17), Jim Baird (IN-04), Clay Higgins (LA-03), Rudy Yakym (IN-02), Michael Guest (MS-03), Debbie Lesko (AZ-08), Chuck Fleischmann (TN-03), Claudia Tenney (NY-24), David Rouzer (NC-07), Dan Meuser (PA-09), and Byron Donalds (FL-19).
