The Alabama Crimson Tide faces the biggest game of the season this week against the Georgia Bulldogs, but win or lose, things don’t lighten up any with a trip to Knoxville for the Third Saturday in October on deck.
Alabama and Tennessee is one of the best and oldest rivalries in the SEC, and two weeks prior to the game kicking off, the time for the game was revealed on Monday – 2:30 p.m. CST or 3:30 p.m. EST in Knoxville.

The Volunteers have struggled at times en route to a 4-1 start to the season. They face a struggling Arkansas team this week before taking on Alabama one week later. Tennessee also benched true freshman starting quarterback Faizon Brandon during last week’s game against Auburn.
It remains to be seen whether Brandon or George MacIntyre will be starting against Alabama, but regardless, Tennessee is having problems on the offensive side of the ball.
Alabama will try to take advantage and either continue rolling after a victory over Georgia or bounce back from a bitter Bulldogs defeat. The SEC is a true gauntlet, and no prior year reflects this schedule for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
At least now the team can mark its calendars with a time for when their next challenge will kick off.
