Former Trump White House official endorses Casey Wardynski for Congress

As the runoff election for Alabama’s fifth congressional district approaches, one former Trump administration official has come out in support of Casey Wardynski.

Joshua Whitehouse, who served as the White House liaison to the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security during the Trump administration, announced on Monday that he was endorsing Wardynski.

The former White House official worked with the congressional candidate during Wardynski’s tenure as the assistant secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs in the Trump administration.

Thursday on WVNN’s “The Yaffee Program,” Whitehouse explained why he was supporting Wardynski for Congress.

“I met Casey when I was assigned to the DoD,” Whitehouse said, “and one of my main roles was to complete a holistic assessment on behalf of the Whitehouse of all political personnel at DoD and Casey shined.”

The former White House liaison said Wardynski was someone they could rely on to get the job done.

“That guy walked around the Pentagon enacting the President’s agenda as if it was “Danger Zone” playing in the background from “Top Gun,” he quipped. He fought against the woke big tech companies having undue influence over our critical infrastructure, against the forever wars. He fought against woke generals and cavaliers like Mark Esper, who used to put Dr. in front of his name just to be quirky, and all these are a part of an establishment and defense industry that for a long time has pushed us towards boots on the ground and a ridiculous amount of military spending and Casey was the guy who helped fight against that.”

Whitehouse also explained how Wardynski worked to end the teaching of Critical Race Theory at West Point.

“Casey understands that these processes and personnel should be based on meritocracy, shouldn’t be based on equity,” he said. “Just because there’s 10% of the population who’s black, we shouldn’t be forcing 10% of the population in the army to be black, it should be based on merit.”

He said Wardynski was the fighter that the Yellowhammer State needed to send to Washington, D.C.

“We need to elect Casey Wardynski to Congress,” he said. “He fought for us at the Pentagon, had the trust of the White House and President Trump, and will undoubtedly serve Alabama’s citizens with the same knowledge and great resolve he demonstrated at the Pentagon.”
